Once an important boat building centre, it is now a classic small South East beach resort with a paddling pool backed by a pleasant sandy beach and colouful beach huts. Those after a quiet day can take a short stroll in the beautiful surrounding countryside.

Nature and Wildlife

The beach is cleaned daily in the summer and bins are only present during the season.
Dogs are not allowed on the beach from May - September.
