Broadhaven South Beach

Broad Haven, Benfro / Pembrokeshire

Broadhaven South is a large sandy rural beach surrounded by a rugged coastline, and very popular with families. There's a lifeguard on duty in the Summer, ice cream kiosk, and large car park On a west-south west swell it is popular with surfers, although the nearby Newgale and Druidstone beaches are probably better for this type of activity.

Behind the beach. there are beautiful walks around a large. National Trust-managed lily pond. The beach is on the Pembrokeshire Coast Path and part of a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI).

Access

From the A477 take the B4319. Turn off for Bosherston. at Bosherston turn left and the road ends at the car park for the beach.

Public Transport

The Coastal Cruiser bus service (387) links this beach to the rest of the southern coast. 8ft surf boards. wheelchairs and bikes can all be taken on this service.
