The beach of my childhood. We came here for the first week in July for about 15 consecutive years in the mid 70s to late 80s. Seemed huge from my childhood memories, doesn't seem quite so big now I've been back a few times in my forties. But there's something there for all. Lazing on the beach, taking a walk up the cliff gardens to Paignton, or a day at Quaywest.
Definitely my favourite corner of England.
