Lisfannon Beach

Fahan, Donegal

Sandy beach on the shores of Lough Swilly. The area is a natural heritage area and a key wetlands site for birds. Fahan Wood within 1km of the beach is classified as being of regional importance. Noted for oak, hazel and rowan. Lisfannon is a major recreational area.
