British Beaches

Sand, sea, sun, surf and scones

This website will be moving soon! We have a new domain name, and a new design. The current site will close later this year, but in the meantime you can check out the new version at BritishBeaches.uk.

Llanddwyn Beach Beach

Llanfaer Pwll, Caernarfonshire and Merionethshire

A long ribbon of sand backed by forest and five kilometres of high dunes with spectacular views across to the mountains of the Lleyn Peninsula. There's a path leading from the beach to the nature reserve at Llanddwyn Island and the nearby forest has a fantastic network of footpaths.

Where available, the Bing map shows the "Birds Eye" view of the beach. Otherwise, it reverts to the standard aerial view.
