Lowestoft - South of Claremont Pier Beach

Lowestoft's fine sandy South Beach is the main resort beach in North Suffolk. A successful events area has been established at Royal Green adjacent to the promenade.

Cleaning and Litter

The beach is cleaned manually on a daily basis by Waveney District Council. Litter and dog bins are provided but dogs are banned from certain areas of the beach from 1st May to 30th September.
