Maidencombe - Torbay Beach

Torquay, Torbay

Part of the 'English Riviera' because of a mild climate, abundant palm trees and other subtropical vegetation. Babbacombe Bay to the north of Torquay is particularly favoured with several attractive sandy beaches with usually high water quality standards.

All are accessible off the main Torquay to Teignmouth road. Steps or paths lead to the beaches. Steep at Maidencombe. Oddicombe Beach is served by a cliff railway.
