Marsden Beach

South Shields, South Tyneside

A sandy bay sheltered by limestone cliffs and overlooked by the 139ft high Marsden rock which is renowned for it's seabird colonies. Photo shows a pub at the base of cliffs in Marsden Bay, accessed via a lift and with several bars within caves.
