Marsden Beach

South Shields, South Tyneside

A sandy bay sheltered by limestone cliffs and overlooked by the 139ft high Marsden rock which is renowned for it's seabird colonies. Photo shows a pub at the base of cliffs in Marsden Bay, accessed via a lift and with several bars within caves.

Depending on how close the beach is to the nearest road, Google Street View of the beach may be available if you zoom in close!
