Don't understand the comments under "Nature/Wildlife" that Bognor is a short walk away???! There are colonies of Oystercatchers and Sanderlings and cormorants and little Egrets are often seen on the beach. There are no amenities on the beach or beachfront and no attractions other than those of any village so it's up to you to decide if it's the beach for you. Please park considerately as it's really galling to be dodging cars all the way down the road during the Summer Holidays and PLEASE take your rubbish home with you. Otherwise, enjoy!

Access to the largely stony beach is difficult and can only be made through private estates on foot where there is no public right of access. There are no boat launching facilities. There is no parking available close by. The beach does not have any toilets or other facilities nor are any available near by. Often litter is left on the beach as the council does not clean it up. It is also frequently used for dog walking with the usual problems that this can create. There are other better beaches nearby, such as Climping and Bognor, that are generally available for families and have toilets and catering.

This is a privately owned foreshore with no immediate access to it. As others have noted it is ringed by private estates that do not allow unauthorised public access through them. This makes it difficult to get to.Car parking is available in a "Shrubbs Field" car park or one can travel a little further east to Climping where there are large field car parks and miles of beaches that are typically deserted once one is more than a few minutes from the car park.
