Seaton Carew - Centre Beach
Seaton Carew beach is a tract of gently sloping golden sand ideal for bathing and recreation. Rocky areas with rock pools make it are ideal for exploring the wildlife. Seaton Common and Dunes Local Nature Reserve and Teesmouth National Nature Reserve lie nearby.

Nature and Wildlife
The only regularly breeding colony of common Seals on the North East coast of England can often be seen basking on the mudflats of Greatham Creek during the summer months. There are good rock pools on the beach.
Cleaning and Litter
The beach is cleaned daily by the borough council.
Dogs are banned from the beach between North Shelter and Seaton Carew Golf Club between May and September. Dog bins are present.
