Seaton - Devon Beach

Seaton, Devon

The beach is formed by a large expanse of legally protected pebbles. It is backed by steep cliffs to the western end. A recent esplanade to the western end affords easy access along its length with a café and facilities at the end of the stroll.

Clean beach, plenty of room for everyone with a sandbar that appears quite often. Lots of nearby parking. The work on the Jurassic centre has just started, photo's to follow. Lovely walk along the front to Axmouth harbour and up the river to the nature reserve and Axmouth. Leave time for a nice ride on Seaton Tramway up to Colyford and Colyton.
