Shanklin beach forms part of Sandown Bay, famous for its long sandy beaches and safe bathing areas. Beach activities cater for all tastes with the Towns Amenities nearby. The beach is well served by longshoremen, providing traditional and modern leisure pursuits.

Access onto the beach is by way of slipways and steps. and the area can be accessed by car along the Esplanade
